-Additionally characters include Pecos Bill, Pocahontas, Lewis & Clark, Davy Crockett, Sleepy Hollow, Zorro, Lone Ranger?
-Sam the Eagle from "America Sings" as host?
-Johnny Appleseed Congesta Wagon serving Apple Dumplings, Apple Pie, Carmel apples, apple sauce, apple slices, apple slush, apple juice, apples
EDIT (02/06/10): The reason I post this now is because Jim Hill did a little article that has a similar idea to this involving the "American Legends". It was from Imagineer Bruce Gordon who wanted to put these characters around the Rivers of America.

I think the river should remain "realistic". Which is why putting these "animated" characters in a dark ride setting is more appropriate to separate from the Frontierland realism and as a segway to Fantasyland. At least "Woody's Roundup" wouldn't be the segway, less PIXAR/TOY STORY, and introduces semi-new characters to the park that would re-introduce guests to new stories.
